Suntrap is registered with Ofsted to provide care and accommodation for up to 5 children aged between 8-18 years old with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.

Accommodation is set over two floors and comprises of:

  • Five bedrooms (three with en-suite facilities)
  • Lounge
  • Games/TV room
  • Kitchen and dining area
  • Staff office
  • Large garden with basketball hoops, football nets, and other sporting equipment available

Suntrap is located in a quiet residential area of Northampton, close to local shops, parks, and community amenities. Its setting provides a calm and supportive environment while remaining well connected to the wider town.

The home is served by reliable public transport, with regular bus routes nearby and Northampton Railway Station just a short drive away, allowing for easy access to schools, services, and recreational activities.

A range of mainstream and specialist education providers are within reach, supporting the individual learning needs of children and young people. Local healthcare services, including GP surgeries, dental practices, and emotional wellbeing support, are also easily accessible.
